Statement Regarding Lack of Personal Information

Over the last year or so, I've become uncomfortable with the excessive personal information on the various home pages I've visited. In some cases I've reacted with delight, but in most cases I've felt either annoyance or embarrassment. For this reason I view publishing my own gratuitous personal life story as suspect, and I doubt most people who stumble onto this site care much in any case.

However, I recognize that the WWW medium is a fine way to maintain contact with acquaintances, friends and relatives.  I used to have a personal page set up, with the infamous "Year in Review" form letters, but nobody was interested so I stopped. Until now.  A Year in Review for 2011 is up, but in a twist, it's from our dog's perspective.
